March 2011 should see our next batch of purebred birds from the USA. This years batch did extremely well and are maturing into fine birds with one Buff Orpington being placed 3rd in the recent National young bird show for its owner in Co Kilkenny.
The black Australorps are exceptional and with their laying history they are the best all round bird. They may be an all black hen but their body confirmation and stature along with their striking plumage make them more than attractive .A pedigree bird with even better laying capabilities than the best hybrid.
They all very healthy as chicks and very easily reared passing all the tests carried out by the Department .Our next batch will contain the same breeds again as the first batch with a limited number of Silver laced Wyandottes. We also intend to bring in some Blue Silkies, Mottled Houdans , Mile Fleurs and Light Brahmas Lf.
Again thy will be available at 7 weeks old after their quarantine is complete .
